Who We Are

Located in the historic city of Donalsonville, in the far southeast corner of Georgia we are a well-respected, highly ranked non-profit hospital that strives to improve the quality of patient care and access to healthcare professionals for our rural community. The hospital is the cornerstone of healthcare for 8,600 residents of Seminole County, Georgia. We are 65 bed facility and employ more than 350 people.

In 2015 and 2016 Georgia Trend magazine ranked Donalsonville Hospital as one of the state's top ten medium-sized hospitals. In 2017, we opened our behavioral health units, which added much-needed beds for geriatric and adolescent patients and we continue to add hospital services to meet the needs of our community.

Offers diagnostic radiology and laboratory services to both inpatients and outpatients including a 64 slice CT (Computed Tomography) and 3D Mammography

Operates a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department

Opened a 24-hour behavioral health unit, 12 Geriatric and 8 Adolescent beds, in July 2017.

Provides 24/7 Emergency Services

Provides both inpatient and outpatient general and gynecological surgery and outpatient endoscopy services

Provides physical and occupational therapy to inpatient and outpatient groups

Contracts with a licensed psychologist to provide mental health services

Owns and operates Seminole Manor Nursing Home, long term care hospital-based nursing home that provides care to both skilled and intermediate care patients
