Meet Our Certified Lactation Counselor

Hey y'all!

My name is Logan Vann. I am a Registered Nurse here in Labor and Delivery. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor.

I was born and raised in the big city of Damascus. I currently live in Colquitt with my husband Garrett and our coon hound Buddy. I graduated high school from SGA, went to college at ABAC (in Tifton) and graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing.

I began my nursing career at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton working in Labor and Delivery. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working in a larger hospital and all that came with it, but I always knew I would end up moving back home to settle down.

I have been at Donalsonville Hospital Labor and Delivery since June of 2019. I have a love for helping mamas and babies in all aspects of their journey and recognized a need for more adequate breastfeeding care, education and support within our community, which prompted me to become a Certified Lactation Counselor or CLC for short.

Since becoming a CLC, my efforts have been mainly focused on helping mamas and babies initiate breastfeeding in the hospital setting. I am so excited to begin offering prenatal and postpartum lactation education, care and support to all the mamas and babies in our community!
